A Blue Perspective: Win a copy of Web Standards Creativity or The Art & Science of CSS

There's only so many copies of my books that I can give to my parents, so what am I to do with the remaining free copies I get from the publisher? Well, I could stack them on top of one another and use them to make me seem taller than Jeff Veen when we next sit across the table from one another, but a far less vain gesture would be to give them away!

So I've decided to give two of my lucky readers (yes, that's 66% of you) the chance to win a copy of either Web Standards Creativity or The Art & Science of CSS. "How do I get my hands on these glorious tomes of gratuity?" I hear you cry. Well ...

Hmmmmmmm ...

OK, I'll run a competition. The two people who can make the most interesting creation out of Blobular – my SVG tomfoolery – will get one of the books. You can either post a screenshot of your piece de blobsistance on Flickr, with the tag "blobular" (that part's important), or ... you can find some other way to get it to me. Post a link in the comments, or send it to me via my contact page. Whatever.

Entries close ... ummmm ... Sunday, 6 May 2007. So get cracking.

And who knows, you might even get a signed book! Or if you want it to keep its value you can ask me not to.

Update (2007-05-09): Here are the winners.

Is there a way to keep the half blobs oozing out from the sides or do they always need to separate?

I'm liking the ooze more than the blobs :)
