Win a copy of Web Standards Creativity
22 February 2007
There's a reward goin' out, to the meanest, baddest, roughest, toughest, hard drinkin', hard punchin', hard codin' geek to walk the South by South West prairies.
"What's this?" you say! "I'm a mean, bad, rough, tough, &c ... geek! How do I claim my rightful prize!?"
To promote the release of Web Standards Creativity, the new book that's just an excuse to have ten ultra-studly web design rockstar author photos in the one publication, Rob Weychert came up with the brilliant idea of a Web Standards round-up.
If you're going to South by South West and you'd like a free copy of the book, then print out the niftily designed most wanted poster and bring it along.
But wait! It's not that simple!
Whenever you track down one of the notorious WSC posse, mosey on over to them and get them to leave a mark on top of their miniaturised self. (This should be done with a personalised rubber stamp, but depending on drunkenness, may take other forms.)
Once you've collected all nine stamps (there's ten authors, but Colly has escaped across the border to New Mexico), the last author to stamp your form will collect your sheet. The first ten people to round 'em all up will receive a free copy of the book! (Remember to leave some sort of contact details on your form.)
What better way to meet scary authors, risk verbal abuse and win free stuff!
Saddle up pardner!
(I'm now officially out of wild, wild west cliches.)
