Just thought I'd let you know of a few speaking dates and workshops that I've got coming up over the next few months. If you're going to be around at any of them, feel free to come up and hassle me, I won't bite too hard.

  • CSS & JavaScript Workshops May 8 – May 30

    In this series of 2 day workshops around Australia, Russ Weakley will be teaching you the pain of CSS and I'll be teaching you the joys of JavaScript. You can still get a seat in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth.

  • Presentation at Melbourne University May 24

    Not sure how open this one is. I've been invited to present to a bunch of Melbourne University web developers about accessible JavaScript, and good web practice in general.

  • Sydney Web Standards Group Presentation: Javascript and Ajax in action June 8

    Just before I jet off to @Media in London, I'll be giving a JavaScript pep-talk for my WSG peeps in Sydney.

  • @Media 2006 Panel: JavaScript Libraries: Friend or Foe? June 16

    While I'm in London, I should have fun arguing with Dan Webb, Simon Willison, Stuart Langridge and Peter-Paul Koch about the merits of JavaScript libraries.

  • Web Directions 06 September 26 – 29

    Yet more fun and hilarity in Sydney this year, wouldn't miss it for anything.

    Why can't there be amazing workshops and seminars and what not in California.

    I thoroughly recommend the CSS & JavaScript Workshops. There are some great scripts discussed that can be easily put into action on most sites that make the user experiance so much better.

    Also you can get your book signed free if you find a bug in it :-P

    What a pitty, most interessting events aren't in old europe....

    For most relevant news, you have to read all the english sources... what you get, for example in germany, comes allways with some delay...
