A Blue Perspective: Left on a jet plane

This year was the first time I'd been overseas in over ten years, so I figured I'd make the most of it. This list of cities I visited this year (idea borrowed from Tim) is mainly a reminder to myself of how much carbon offset I have to catch up on. But it looks like I'm probably set to beat it in 2007.

  1. Melbourne, VIC, Australia
  2. Austin, TX, USA
  3. New York, NY, USA
  4. New Haven, CT, USA
  5. Sydney, NSW, Australia
  6. Canberra, ACT, Australia
  7. Brisbane, QLD, Australia
  8. London, England
  9. Prague, Czech Republic
  10. Salzburg, Austria
  11. Venice, Italy
  12. Rome, Italy
  13. Barcelona, Spain
  14. Figueres, Spain
  15. Lisbon, Portugal
  16. Coimbra, Portugal
  17. Paris, France
  18. Brighton, England
  19. Jindabyne, NSW, Australia

Mere rail travel, I know, but I'd campaign for an entry reading "3.1 New Haven" if the notation didn't imply some sort of design advance over NY. Hope you'll be able to grace us with another visit this year. And happy Boxing Day :)

OMG! New Haven! How could I forget the abrasive charm of Sally's on Wooster, and the only place I got snow in the States.

    Duly added.

And I'll definitely be back there this year, Dave!

Wow, you went to more places this year than I've played hockey games last last year, but not last year 'cos my hockey was in a tournament and played lots of games but we lost all of them. We only beat one team by default. Your RSS button is in a random place, but that's just my opinion. You don't need to fix it. Check out my friend, who is 16 is a total computer whiz and artistic genius. http://www.ludwignz.com
